The President of Systèmes Sous-sol Québec, Michel Haydamous, member of the jury at the JMUCC
Our President, Michel Haydamous, has been selected to be one of the judges of the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition (JMUCC) 2021. His knowledge and his entrepreneurship skills and his experience by being the founder of Systèmes Sous-sol Québec and Systèmes Éconergie, two growing businesses, are a great asset for judging the teams. Mr. Haydamous himself is a John Molson School of Business MBA graduate.
The JMUCC is an annual multi-round case competition organized by a committee of students from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. It brings together some of the most passionate, spirited, and dynamic business students from 28 universities around the world. Each team has presented their analysis from live business cases they resolved to a panel of judges and industry specialists. Only one winning team has been determined.
This year, the competition was held completely virtually. The judging session Michel held with four other judges was quite a challenge, as he had to evaluate a total of four teams composed of four talented students based on their presentation of the case and the solution found.
Michel shared his experience as follows: “It was a great experience to be part of the JMUCC competition as a judge. I have seen a lot of talent and great ideas in the case presented. I would say that it was quite a challenge to determine one winner.”
As a judge, Michel had to share his feedback with every team. He had to pull out the strength and weak points, but he also shared his experience on how to grow a successful business.
Ryan Stephan, the Judges Coordinator, shared his gratitude to Michel “thank you for being part of JMUCC and helping us make the 2021 rendition a true success!”.
