Discharge Line for Sump Pump

As you can see in the picture, we have used a discharge line to discharge the water from the sump pump system. Our discharge line runs at a depth of up to 1 foot under the surface.

We prefer discharging the water this way to avoid connecting the discharge line to the city sewer line which is illegal and risky.
