Photo Album: Repairs of failed foundations in Wentworth
We received a call from a customer who lives in Wentworth area informing us that his foundation blocks went down, and he saw many cracks on the outside walls of his house.
Normally these problems are the consequences of the pressure of the earth on the foundations.
To solve this problem, our foreman installed several support pillars Pushpiers
The PushPier pillar is a patented product and it features an outer sleeve that reinforces the pillar device directly under the support which is the most critical place.
It strengthens this area and prevents twisting, distortion and rotation that are commonly observed in other support pillar devices.
Foundation wall crack
Wall cracks on the foundation bases are sign of sagging that must be adjusted at the source.
Signs of foundation failure
When the first signs of foundation failure appear, it is important to treat the problem just before it gets worse and harder, because the longer you wait the worst it will be.
And it will get more expensive to bring back the foundation to its original position as well as the fair value of your home.
Inspection of our team
During inspection, our team will note and indicate the best places to install the products.
The PushPier pillar
This system utilizes high-strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations. The foundation bracket is secured against the existing footing and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance.
PushPier Pillars
Pier sections are continuously driven until a suitable load bearing stratum is encountered.
