SuperSump Installation
After experiencing issues in his basement such as water infiltration and the resulting spike in humidity and mold, causing bad smells in the basement, we installed the SuperSump sump pump to lower the water table level below his slab and to drain the water from the perimeter inside water drainage system.
Frozen Discharge Lines in Quebec
The SuperSump manages to drain the water out of the basement through a pipe. The problem is that during our cold and freezing winters in Quebec, the pipe usually freezes and becomes blocked with ice and snow. Therefore, we installed the IceGuard, a patented invention for Basement systems which solves the problems of frozen discharge lines.

To sum up the work on this project, we dug the lawn and installed a discharge line one foot deep, and added the LawnScape Outlet to let the water escape and run smoothly without letting all the leaves, acorns and any debris clog the discharge line.
