Photo Album: A crawl space encapsulated in Austin, Qc
Once we received a call from Mr. Kevin who lives in Austin, he expressed his worries regarding his damp crawl space. But after our free inspection, we suggested our fast and efficient solutions to turn this damp place into a healthy area.
Those solutions were as follows: a CleanSpace vapor barrier to eliminate moisture and turn this place into a healthy area again; SilverGlo insulation panels for more insulation and energy saving.
Below you can find more details about the installation.

Damp crawl space in Austin
Crawl spaces are very often filled with water, causing water vapor to escape into the air and make it moist and full of bacteria.
Wrong solutions for crawl space insulation
Many homeowners opt for Styrofoam insulation, but this will not prevent the area from getting damp.
Insulation that was tearing up
As you can see, Styrofoam will not be able to handle water seepage and high level of moisture.

We always indicate the problem and find the solutions during the day of inspection.
SilverGlo installed
Our SilverGlo wall Insulation panels look different because they are different. Tiny graphite particles permeate its foam insulation to give it that silver/gray shine.
CleanSpace vapor barrier installed
A vapor barrier slows or prevents the evaporation of ground moisture into the crawl space air.
CleanSpace benefits
A vapor/air barrier can also slow or block most of the movement of harmful gases, such as radon, from the soil.
