Sump pump discharge line installed with IceGuard

Our client in Hudson preferred that we install the discharge line running through the basement wall and draining a few feet away from the foundation. This is much better than connecting to the plumbing pipes which is illegal in most cases, and might pose a risk of basement flood when you have a sewer backup.

The 2 IceGuard devices you see ensure that the water will flow out even in the event that the pipes freeze in winter.
