Photo Album: Installing our patented WaterGuard and SuperSump pump in Deux-Montagnes, Qc
Ms. Mitchell who lives in Deux-Montagnes contacted our company Québec because she had water infiltration problems in her basement, in addition to many foundation cracks through which water was seeping.
In order to solve our client's problems, we installed our WaterGuard interior foundation drain system throughout the foundation walls. Next, we installed a SuperSump sump pump system. The water will therefore be directed far outside the house. Ms. Mitchell now has a dry basement and can begin her basement finishing work.
Water infiltration problem in the basement
The water seeped into the basement throughout the joint between the walls and the concrete slab and created a high level of humidity.
Several foundation cracks
Following a water damage, she had to throw everything out of her basement. She discovered several large cracks in the walls of her foundation.
Installation of the SilverGlo Insulation Panels and WaterGuard
Our team first sealed the cracks on the foundation walls and then installed the SilverGlo insulation panels on the walls. Those also act as a vapor barrier.
Installing the WaterGuard Interior Foundation Drain
Once the trench has been dug at the bottom of the walls, our team installs the WaterGuard. It collects water from walls and floors and delivers it directly to the sump pump system.
The WaterGuard is connected to our SuperSump
The WaterGuard interior drain is connected to the SuperSump sump pump system.
SuperSump installed
Once the WaterGuard is installed, we always cover it with concrete to give a finished look. The installation of our SuperSump is done, it only rests for our plumber to connect it.
