Crawl space with a very wet earth
The earthen floor of a crawl space gives off a lot of humidity, which contributes to the development of mold and wood rot. This gives off a musty smell that can be smelled in the house.
Installation of the drainage membrane
We install the drainage membrane on the earth floor in order to drain the water towards the sump pump system that we will install. It also adds some thermal value.
Installing our SilverGlo Insulation Panels
We install our SilverGlo insulation panels to cut the cold coming from the foundation walls and which they act as a vapor barrier as well.
Installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier
Over the drainage membrane, we install the white CleanSpace vapor barrier. It blocks moisture from the ground in addition, it gives a clear and clean appearance to the crawl space.
Crawl space sump pump system
We installed our SmartSump, a sump pump system designed for crawl spaces. It includes 1 Zoelle pump, airtight lid and alarm. It only remains for our plumber to connect it.
