Our client had problems in her basement, such as water infiltration and cracks in her foundation wall. She called Systèmes Sous-sols Québec and we were able to solve all her problems. Firstly, our team installed a WaterGuard interior drain system which is placed under the floor slab all along the foundation wall in order to catch all the water that enters through the joints of the floor and through the cracks. Then we installed a sump pump system to drain the water outside the house and another battery backup pump system, in case the power goes out. Finally, a system to prevent flooding in case the drains freeze, called IceGuard, was installed. The IceGuard acts as a second flow path that is not vulnerable to freezing in the winter.

A wet basement is not only annoying, but it will keep the place filled with mold and bacteria which is bad for the health.

Water in the basement will eventually deteriorate the place .
Cracks in the walls and the floors
Water will also create gaps in between the walls and will deteriorate the floors.
Installation of the WaterGuard system
This system Is installed on the foundation footing out of the mud and dirt, sits on top of a stone bedding, adding another "clean" layer to prevent clogging.

The SuperSump can be installed with an optional UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump, which can pump out 11,500 gallons or more on a single charge!
