Great success for Basement Systems Quebec at the Immofacile.ca conference

A large number of real estate investors were present at Hotel Universel in Montreal last Tuesday to learn more about foundation and basement water infiltration problems at the Immofacile.ca conference organized by Mr. Ghislain Larochelle.

The Immofacile.ca conferences are held monthly and revolve around new topics that are of interest to all those who want to invest in real estate and make a career of it.

We were invited to the conference on the 21^st January in order to provide more than one hundred participants our advice in our areas of specialization, namely everything that concerns basements and foundations of houses.

Sylvain Tassé, one of our experienced specialists, spoke for more than 45 minutes about the topic, addressing the most common problems of foundation settlement, their symptoms and the best solutions for these problems. Sylvain also talked about the problems of basement water infiltration issues, their symptoms and common solutions such as French drains and interior drains, namely our system the Waterguard.

The participants showed great interest in this subject, especially since the problems of basements and foundations are the most common in houses and basement repairs are usually the highest priority for home owners when it comes to house renovation. The team stayed for more than 30 minutes after the presentation to answer questions.

In addition, attendants loved the book “Dry Basement Science" of which more than 100 copies were offered, thus demonstrating the success of the presentation.

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to participate in this conference with Mr. Larochelle, and we plan to attend several lectures and presentations in the future in order to share our knowledge in the field of foundation repair, basement waterproofing and crawl space insulation with homeowners in Quebec.
