Basement Crack Repair Photo Album: FlexiSpan crack repair in Salaberry-De-Valleyfield
New crack repair technology doubles the crack seal. First, a dry well is dug under the crack and then sealed with a urethane sealant. Subsequently, we inject over the first sealant polyurethane ether foam that allows the water behind the crack to go to the dry well. Finally, we cover all this with a gray polyurethane sealant and we close the well with concrete. The FlexiSpan is a flexible sealant that adapts to wall movements.
Crack repair
A vertical crack is not really sealed forever. It risks reopening. This was the case of our clients in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield
Permanent sealer
We seal the crack with a urethane-based sealant. Than we cover with a special polyurethane ether foam strip that is applied over the first one.
FlexiSpan crack repair
The FlexiSpan completely seals the crack and resists the movement of the wall to adapt to the crack change.
Drywell collects and drains water
We dig a dry well that will collect the water that is flowing down behind the polyurethane injection. We either connect it into the perimeter drainage system or a stone bed under the floor, or we make our own.
