This problem causes risks for many homes. That's why you have to deal with this problem if you realize that it concerns you too. Indeed, the basement is essentially a porous concrete hole. Solution
Our specialist Mike recommended the installation of the WaterGuard drain over the length of the wall affected by the hydrostatic pressure. The WaterGuard piping system is specifically designed to be installed inside the perimeter of the basement on the footing of the foundation without damaging its structure. The WaterGuard Internal Drain contains spacers that line the rear side of the wing and holes below to intercept any seepage through concrete pores, cracks, and wall-to-foot seams.
In addition, the installation of a sump pump system is essential to draw water that seeps into the drain to the outside, far away from home. A sump pump system such as the SumperSump contains several important components other than the pump such as the 100-hole watertight receptacle, an airtight lid, a floor drain in the sump lid, a pump stand and an alarm system.
Thus, a combined drainage system and sump pump system protects the subsoil by providing protection against hydrostatic pressure.
