Waterproofing and insulation of a basement in Lantier, Qc

Challenge

Problem: The client who has lived in Lantier for several years already had a French drain which was often blocked. Unfortunately, the water was not draining properly. In addition, his basement had no insulation so it was very cold in the winter. Heating costs were high. This is why this client called on our services and requested an estimate for his basement. Subsequently, one of our certified specialists came forward to assess the situation and offered the following solution.

Solution

Solution: First, we installed our Waterguard indoor drainage system to facilitate drainage to the sump pump, which we also changed, as the old pump was not sufficient for the customer's needs. In addition, we added Foamax to the walls, to ensure good insulation. A membrane has also been added to facilitate drainage to the WaterGuard interior drain. Also, on the outside we have added an IceGuard, which in winter allows the water to evacuate even if it is frozen. After this work, the client can feel safe, because there is an excellent drainage system for the 4 seasons and the addition of Foamax, allows him to keep the heat inside his basement.
