Mrs. Laflamme who lives in Montreal, had humidity problems in her crawl space. During her free inspection with our specialist, a humidity level of more than 64% was detected. Most of the humidity comes from the earthen floor and the foundation walls if they were not insulated. The wooden support beams were rotting and the rim joists were sagging.

Solution

To improve the comfort of her home and solve the problem, our experts encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace drainage membrane and vapor barrier to block moisture from the earth floor. To reinforce the end joists, our experts installed our galvanized steel SmartJack pillars. Ms. Laflamme can now have the peace of mind
