Water coming in inside a basement in Trois-Rivieres, Qc

Challenge

Mr. Denis had some water infiltration problems in his basement. The water was coming in through the staircase . This issue had caused several damages in the wood, that had started to rot, with also mold starting to appear.

To fix mold problems and rotten wood, you must prevent water from seeping into the basement.

Several solutions exist on the market, but are not effective,  such as the external French drain that always ends up clogging and lets water infiltrate even after many years.

This is why our client contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec.

Solution

             Our WaterGuard drains are installed  internally and do not clog because they are not              in contact with mud. They collect the water that infiltrates and bring it directly to the                   sump.

Our consultant suggested installing our SuperSump sump pump system.

This system will guarantee the operation of the evacuation system even during the worst thaw seasons.

This whole system is connected to a drain equipped with IceGuard protection. It prevents backflow due to the frost that occurs every winter.

Now our client Denis can benefit from a dry basement at all times.
