WaterGuard installation Process
We have chosen to install the internal drain system, the WaterGuard, which acts as a solution that offers more protection than the French drain. Indeed, it protects the basement from the infiltration of water not only by the joints in the foundation but also through the walls, which was the case for our client.

We installed the drain along the inner perimeter of the foundation. First we dug 6 inches throughout the inner perimeter, laid the drain, leveled the drain and connected it to the sump pump, to finally re-fix the concrete. All you can see from the WaterGuard is the 1-inch that helps drain the water from the walls.
