Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Interior Basement Drain Installation in Greenfield Park, Qc
A few years ago, our client has moved to this beautiful house in Greenfield Park and started having regular water infiltration problems in his basement, especially during spring.
Following his call, our company sent one of our specialists Alex Mircic who did a full and thorough inspection on the inside and outside of the home, and recommended to install an internal drainage system called the WaterGuard, on most of the basement walls.
Our client was very satisfied and happy with our company’s work since he did not face any water infiltration problems in his basement. Whereas the WaterGuard did an amazing job and ensured the basement of our client stayed dry.
Efflorescence in the basement
Efflorescences, as you see in the photo, are a very clear signs of water infiltration. The water seeps into the basement and then leaves these minerals stuck on the areas.

WaterGuard installation in Greenfeild, Qc
To install the Waterguard, which is an interior drainage system that channels the water to the SuperSump at the foot of the wall, Quebec Underground Systems technicians had to dig a 6-inch trench.
In order to prevent clogging, our team has inserted a stone of bedding, and the WaterGuard will be sitting on top of it.
Leveling the drain
After installing the WaterGuard at the bottom of the trench, the installers put cement back on the drain.
Installing the sump pump in Greenfield, Qc
Many basements in Quebec City Royal have underground water infiltration problems, and need a sump pump. Our SuperSump can help keep the basement dry by discharging the internal drain, and lowering the water level in the soil under the slab.
