Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Installation of an Interior Drain system in Pincourt, Qc
Our client from Pincourt contacted us a few years ago and informed us about noticing a crack on his basement walls. Cracks and water are signs that you may have foundation problems.
We sent our specialist Jorge a few days later, and he recommended the installation of a complete waterproofing system to keep his basement dry and healthy no matter what.
Consequently we installed the following products: 71 feet of WaterGuard, CleanSpace membrane, drain tile, LawnScape outlet, IceGuard, and a SumperSump sump pump. With these products, no more water will even come in and the water will always be redirected far away from his home.
Failure to isolate the basement walls
Foam board insulation products are used in our client's basement but are not the proper way to isolate the walls.
Efflorescence on the walls.
Efflorescence is a crystalline deposit of salts seen on the surface of the walls and occurs when water is present on or in the masonry surface.
Cracks on walls
Crack on the walls in a basement are bad signs for water infiltration in the area.
Interior Drain installed
The WaterGuard drain was installed all around this room to drain all the water that seeped into this small room.
SuperSump pump installed
This pump was selected as the best from amongst nearly 50 models. It pumps 2220 gallons per hour from a 8-foot discharge head (43gpm) efficiently and gently.
Cleanspace installed
In order to finish the basement, we have installed the Cleanspace membrane. The CleanSpace membrane is composed of 7 layers of high density polyethylene and is specified by being very durable and affordable.
