Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Mont-Saint-Hilaire
This homeowner trusted us to fix a water problem in her basement. Our waterproofing products are specially designed for the basement environment. To seal the crack in the foundation wall, we injected the FlexiSpan sealant which is a product that, once injected into the crack, turns into a waterproof rubbery material that adapts to wall movements so that it does not get wet nor crack again. Then, we eliminated the water infiltration by installing a WaterGuard water drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump system. Congratulations to Sébastien and his team!
Wall Crack
During the inspection, our specialist took a picture of the crack in length, present in this house and recommended our FlexiSpan solution to seal it.

We then cover it with a polyurethane sealant that has been worked to look like a gray-colored joint compound.
First step to seal a crack
We seal the crack with a urethane-based sealer and then cover it with a polyurethane ether foam tape.

Water problem? It's not a problem when we can fix it. The footing of the foundation is at risk, but an interior drain eliminates risk by capturing water that seeps through the floor and walls.
The WaterGuard, sole drain
By installing a drain on the base of the foundation inside, the water that seeps in at the joint is captured by the holes under the drain and by the gaps that allow the water in the walls to be go down the drain.

Once installed, the WaterGuard can be covered to fit into the decor. It will not appear, will not harm the available space and will solve the problem neither seen nor known.
