When groundwater seeps into a finished basement, water damages the wood, carpet and all organic matter. Redoing the floor or finishing the basement without waterproofing it eliminates the risk that this problem will occur again.

Rock bed

The sump pump drain and sump are installed in the soil in a bed of rock that allows water to be directed to the drain and pump. So all the water is captured and directed to the system that will evacuate it.

Basement before waterproofing

During the inspection, our specialist recommended the installation of 29 feet of WaterGuard interior drain to intercept water seepage from the ground. This will allow the basement to be finished without being at risk.

The covered WaterGuard drain

Once installed and connected to the pump, the drain is covered with concrete and blends into the decor. It does not appear and does not occupy any place. An inspection port allows the drain to be accessible for cleaning.
