The owner had every intention of finishing the basement in order to benefit from all the space, but it was impossible with a basement that is not dry. Efflorescence in the basement

Efflorescences, as you see in the photo, are a very clear signs of water infiltration. The water seeps into the basement and then leaves these minerals stuck on the areas.

Installing a sump pump system is necessary in a basement, since it allows us to connect the inner drain in order to channel the water .Also it helps to drain the water from below the floor in order to lower the level of humidity.
