Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Major pitting and exterior waterproofing work in Kirkland, QC
Here's a request we received from a customer from Kirkland in February 2019: "Water seeps into our basement during freeze and thaw cycles only by one wall, but never during the rest of the year during even during the spring rains. The land now slopes towards the wall. And in winter there are puddles caused by the thaw near the foundations. "
To solve this customer's problem, we need to waterproof the basement and finish the floor. We installed our WaterGuard Indoor Drainage System and SuperSump Sump Pump System. Once completed, we have installed the ThermalDry floor system which is an inorganic mat resistant to water and moisture. It is a product specially designed for the basement environment.
Perfect floor for the basement
ThermalDry carpet tiles prevent moisture from entering the basement. If water leaks, the water can dry without having to remove the tiles.

Indoor Drain and SuperSump Installation
The WaterGuard Internal Drain is installed at the joint between the wall and the footing of the foundation and is covered with concrete to blend into the decor.
Discrete sump pump
The SuperSump System is a sump pump liner that is unobtrusive and not bulky. You can put your things on it without being afraid that something will fall in it.
Inspection du sous-sol et recommendation
During the inspection, our specialist suggested installing a water-resistant floor covering with a plastic subfloor. In front of the fireplace will be installed ceramic.

The ThermalDry modular tiles are approximately 12 square inches. They are lifted by pegs before they are not directly on the concrete slab, allowing the soil to breathe.
