This Greenfield Park client contacted us in March 2016 during the spring flood to ask for our expert opinion on his idea of having an indoor drain installed in his basement. Stone walls were added to this house in 1990 and the wet basement underwent a lot of water infiltration. We sent a specialist to do a deep space analysis to recommend a solution that will fix the problem permanently. We are pleased to have been able to install a WaterGuard interior drain perimeter connected to the SuperSump and TripleSafe systems, totaling 5 sump pumps including a battery backup pump.

This basement in Greenfield Park suffered a lot from water infiltration.

Interior foundation drain

We install the interior drain at the foot of the foundation, at the joint between the wall and the footing so that the water that infiltrates through the slab, the wall and the joint is intercepted by the drain then evacuated by the sump pumps.

Cover up the interior drain

Once installed on the base, the interior drain is covered with concrete. So it no longer appears, but protects the basement. And you can finish the basement with no problem once the concrete dries.

Connect the drain to the pump

The WaterGuard interior foundation drain is here connected to the SuperSump sump pump system in order to evacuate the water that infiltrates through the ground.
