Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water infiltration caused by a water table in L'Assomption, Qc
Mr. Savard's house was located on a water table and he had already had water infiltration because of this location. His office was in the basement, with all of his work gear, so he really couldn't afford to lose that investment and shut down in case there was a flood. So he needed to fix the situation for good.
Our team, expert in this type of complex project, offered him a combination guaranteeing a dry and worry-free basement. The solution of the WaterGuard drainage system was paired with the SuperSump pump. Mr. Savard now enjoys a protected and dry workspace.
The customer did not have a pump before our installation
The sump pump is the heart of your entire basement drainage system. And, just like the heart, if the sump pump stops working, the whole system collapses. When this happens, your basement is flooded. In order to put all your confidence in your basement waterproofing system, you must be able to rely completely on your sump pump.

SuperSump pump installed
Our sump pump systems includes the following:
- WaterWatch Alarm: Sounds to alert you when the water level exceeds the limit where the pump should have been running.
- SuperLiner Sump Liner: Large enough for the pump to operate properly without repeated starts and stops, but not large enough for the liner to be too deep and cause your sump pump to wear prematurely by pumping water unnecessarily.
- Waterproof Sump Cover: A waterproof cover keeps odors and moisture away while protecting your sump pit from debris that is on the basement floor. Insulating rubber washers around the pipes and wires help to seal the cover and keep the PVC pipes in place and quiet.
- Pump support: The sump pump supports are installed so as to raise the pump from the bottom of the basin. The silt and sediment that rests at the bottom of the pond will be well away from the pump. The brackets allow the height of the pump to be adjusted as needed.
WaterGuard drain system installed
This product replaces the traditional French drain, which is not always effective and requires an exterior installation that really damages your land. This is why we suggest an interior basement drain system that runs along the interior perimeter of your basement, a system that is cheaper and installs faster, leaving your land intact.
