Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing and insulation of a basement in Lantier, Qc
In this album we show you a project that we carried out in Lantier. The client wanted to do waterproofing work on his foundation and also insulate the walls of his basement. We have used products like our SuperSump to replace the customer's original sump pump. We have also added WaterGuard in the basement in order to have better water drainage and it is connected to our pump to evacuate the water. In this album you will see that we have added an IceGuard to the exterior of the house, this is used to evacuate the water even if the discharge pipe is frozen and clog with ice. As for the walls, we insulated them with our Foamax panels.
Photo before work
We can see here that there is no insulation and that the basement’s condition is not great.
Space created to accommodate the WaterGuard
For the first step, we dig a small trench that will accommodate our WaterGuard interior drain.
WaterGuard installed
The WaterGuard is now installed, it is ready to be buried under the new concrete, which we are going to pour.
SuperSump and WaterGuard the perfect match
We have removed the old sump pump, in order to replace it with a better quality called SuperSump and which better meets the customer's needs.
IceGuard installed
Our IceGuard allows water to drain even when the discharge hose becomes clogged with ice.
Foamax installed
The Foamax is installed and the concrete has been poured over the WaterGuard.
Completed work
Here we can see from another angle the final result of the project.
