Crack in the foundation wall
Moisture and water seeped had through this crack. Our client had to rip off her whole carpet because it was wet. In order to finish her basement, she will have to seal this crack to prevent any future water infiltration.
Step 1: Polyurethane Sealer
Application of a polyurethane-based sealant. The sealant penetrates deep into the crack to form a flexible and durable seal.
2nd stage: drainage membrane
The Polyurethane sealant should never deteriorate. If that were the case, 95% of the water should not infiltrate. To ensure proper repair, we install a secondary drainage layer on the foundation wall that will direct water to the basement drainage system or dry well.
3rd step: application of a 2nd coat of gray sealant
To keep your foundation walls looking great, we cover the sealed crack with another light gray polyurethane sealant. This gives the repair a neat and professional appearance.
