Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a wet basement in Montreal, Qc
Mr. Côté contacted us because he had problems in his basement. There was some water infiltration, in addition to cold air entering through the foundation walls.
Our team came up with the best solution to all his problems, so that our client could enjoy his basement and live pleasantly at home.
Installation of the Waterguard
First, our team installed a WaterGuard interior drainage system that is placed along the perimeter of the affected area under the floor slab.
Installing the thermal insulation on the walls
we covered all the walls of the foundation with our SilverGlo thermal insulation panels, in order to resist thermal conduction.
SuperSump pump installed
Then, our team installed a SuperSump, which is a pump capable of pumping outside the basement 8,300 liters of water per hour at a height of 8 feet.
SuperSump pump liner
It is Large enough to keep your sump pump working properly without turning on and off repeatedly, but not so large that your liner goes too deep, making your sump pump wear out prematurely as it pumps out unnecessary water.
SuperSump pump lid
An airtight lid keeps odors and humidity out while protecting your sump from debris from the basement floor.
