Encapsulation of a crawl space and installation of a SaniDry Sedona in Berthierville, Qc
Challenge
Problem: This client who lives in Berthierville had odor problems emanating from her crawl space.
The exposed crawl space let a lot of water vapor to enter and humidify the air and the place was full of mold and bacteria which was affecting badly on our client’s health and the whole place as well.
Our client has tried many ways to fix it but moisture never stopped, until she found us and contacted our team asking for our help.
Solution
As a solution, we installed our CleanSpace membrane, which serves as a vapor barrier, and it is accompanied by a drainage membrane, to redirect the water to the sump pump that we installed, the SuperSump. In addition, to ensure that we reduce the humidity in this crawl space as much as possible, we installed a SaniDry Sedona. This product is a high performance dehumidifier which withdraws approximately 47 liters of water per day, this one is connected to the sump pump, in order to evacuate it out of the house.
