Moisture and mold in a crawl space in Louiseville, Qc

Challenge

Problem:

In this crawl space in Louiseville, there was a high level of humidity and this had created mold in several places. The sump pump used was not optimal and was covered by only a concrete slab which was not airtight and the smell could easily escape. The crawl space walls and earthen floor were not insulated, making it very cold and damp.

Solution

Solution:

The solution our client chose was to insulate the walls with our SilverGlo insulation panels, install our SmartSump sump pump system, lay a drainage mat on the floor so that the water on the surface can be directed to the sump pump system and then lay over our designed crawl space liner, the CleanSpace. It is used to isolate the house from the earth which is in the crawl space. It is also composed of antimicrobials and gives a clear and clean appearance to the crawl space. Finally, our Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier was installed. It is quite simply the best and the most efficient.

With this solution, Mr. Michaud will no longer have to worry about humidity and mold odors in his parents.
