Challenge
The floor sags when the support pillars are not properly placed and the weight of the house is not evenly distributed. The beam makes a "banana" shape
This is what happened in Mr. Labarre's house because the existing beams in the basement were not sufficient and were too far apart.
He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc for a free estimate.
Solution
Our solution was to add our galvanized steel SmartJack pillars to reinforce the floor and support the weight. They are adjustable to straighten the floor over time.
