A wet crawl space and humidity issues in REPENTIGNY, Qc

Challenge

Ms. Dalpé had water infiltration in her crawl space and no drainage system nor a sump pump to evacuate the water. There was some plastic liner to protect the dirt floor, but it was not airtight and lets a lot of moisture through.

When she got worried about her health due to the increase of mold and humidity in the area, she contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc to get a free inspection of her crawl space.

Solution

To solve this problem, our team encapsulated the crawl space by installing our drainage membrane and Cleanspace liner on the floor. They have also installed a SmartSump sump pump system.

With this solution, this crawl space will be much drier, less humid and without any mold.
