A complete crawl space encapsulation in Montreal, Qc

Challenge

We visited a duplex in Montreal whose crawl space needed repairs. The crawl space was experiencing water infiltration, the humidity was too high and the floor was sagging.

Solution

We installed a new SmartSump sump pump capable of pumping out of the house over 9000 liters of water per hour. Then, we encapsulated the crawl space with a drainage membrane to channel water more easily to the pump and we installed a CleanSpace membrane to prevent humidity from rising to the upper floors. Then, we installed a SmartJack structural support made of galvanized steel to stabilize the sagging floor.
