Challenge

We had received a call from someone who lives in Gatineau informing us that they weere dealing with water problems in their crawl space. The floor of the crawl space was filled with dirt. There was also mold growing on the ceiling which caused the floor above the crawl space to be soft in too many areas. 

Solution

We started by inspecting the place and then our team started by installing a drainage membrane on the floor to help water find its way to the drainage system. Then, we covered the floor with a CleanSpace membrane, which mainly serves to prevent water vapor from leaving the floor and rising to the upper floors. Next, we installed SmartJack systems, which are galvanized steel beams used to support the sagging floor. Finally,we had installed SmartDrain drainage systems, which are used to get rid of infiltrating water.
