Crawlspace Repair in Saint-Isidore, QC
Challenge
A house in Saint-Isidore, had problems with his crawlspace. There were lots of water infiltration, which expedited mold growth. Additionally, the floor in his house was sloping, indicating sagging issues. Our specialist Patrick went to Saint-Isidore for the inspection. Entering into the crawlspace, he noticed the unpleasant odor caused by excess moisture and mold. The solution lies in stabilizing the floor and encapsulating the crawlspace, which will eliminate harmful moisture. Action must be taken as soon as possible to prevent further structural damage that could even affect the foundation of the house.
Solution
After signing the contract, we began the renovation work under the supervision of David. We completed the encapsulation of the crawlspace using the CleanSpace system. This involves covering the floor with two complementary membranes:
Furthermore, to ensure thermal insulation of the crawl space walls, we installed SilverGlo wall insulation panels. These panels have a radiant barrier that reflects heat inside the crawlspace for energy savings.
Regarding floor stabilization, we implemented the SmartJack system.
