Mr. Cloghesy had an earthen crawl space that was very wet. Moisture from the crawl space spreads to upper floors and sometimes creates a foul odor. He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec to install a vapor barrier in his crawl space in order to regain the comfort of his home and use the space as storage.
Our solution was to install our drainage membrane as well as our CleanSpace coating to lock in moisture and make the crawl space dry, clear and clean.
Crawl space before work
Our client uses his crawl space as a storage space, but with the humidity that emerges there, it damaged his property.
Dehumidifier not sufficient
The dehumidifier alone will not make the crawl space dry. With an earthen crawl space, there is constant moisture coming from the floor and walls. We must therefore reduce this humidity level and this is the role of our CleanSpace coating.
