Unstable foundations in a house in Montreal
Challenge
Mr. Boerr's had a house in Montreal that started to sink into the ground. There were several exterior and interior signs of subsidence that were apparent including cracks on the corners of the doors and windows and also cracks in the stairs.
After many research he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc for a free inspection and to find out the repair costs and all the measures that needed to be taken.
Solution
In order to repair a foundation collapse, the building must be staked. So our team installed our Push Piers system under the footing to stabilize it and prevent any future subsidence.
Those piers will reach a solid rock base to hold and stabilize the foundation.
Now that the work is done, our client feels safe and relaxed in his settled house.
