Stabilization of a settled foundation in Trois-Rivières, QC

While examining the exterior of the house in detail, Houssem was able to identify several stair-step cracks. This appears to be alarming as it indicates the settling of the foundation. These cracks were also the source of water infiltration into the basement.

Examining the interior of the house, the cracks were visible from the inside. Moreover, there was an excess of humidity due to the infiltrated water. Houssem emphasized the urgency of taking action to avoid an even more catastrophic structural damage.

We installed 10 PushPiers around the perimeter of the house to support the foundation. A detailed inspection of the terrain was conducted to determine the exact location and depth for each PushPier. This installation is done after excavating the soil around the footing, where each pile will be placed. Additionally, the piles are made of galvanized steel, ensuring they won't rust.

We installed the SuperSump sump pump system featuring the revolutionary 1/3HP Zoeller cast-iron pump, a sealed lid, and a hermetic drain, along with a WaterWatch alarm to prevent flooding. To enhance the existing drainage system, we also installed a discharge line equipped with the patented IceGuard system, which prevents flooding in case the discharge line freezes.
