The problem
Mr. Young had a few cracks in the foundation of his house, but he was not worried about it. Over time, more cracks formed in front of the house, and the front wall of the house was slowly starting to peel away from the garage door frames. Worried about his house, Mr. Young decided to contact Systèmes Sous-sol Quebec to solidify the foundation of his house permanently.
The solution
The solution for our client was to install our hydraulic pillars under the footing of the foundation walls in front of the house. A total of 6 pillars were needed. This is intended to support the foundation and prevent it from sagging further. And then to strengthen and stabilize the walls on the sides, the Carbon Arm straps were laid where there were cracks.
With this solution, Mr. Young's foundation walls were permanently stabilized.
Crack on the foundation
A long vertical crack has been formed on one of the walls on the side of the house. This crack is disturbing, because it was a sign that the front wall of the house was quietly peeling away.

On the opposite side, another vertical crack had been created.

The solution to stabilize the foundation walls is the installation of hydraulic pillars. They are installed under the footing of the foundation. This is a permanent solution

The CarbonArmor straps were laid over the cracks in the foundation walls on the sides. They strengthen the walls and prevent the cracks from growing.
