Homes are usually built with a French drain around the foundation on the outside of the house. But, these French drains eventually clog. The dirt and debris that gets in there makes this unavoidable. This is why in many houses water seeps inside through cold joints after rain or melting. This same situation occurred with our client Mr. Pomerleau in Blainville. Mr. Pomerleau contacted us because water was seeping into his basement and he wanted to waterproof it. First, a WaterGuard interior drain system had to be installed.
