Basement Waterproofing in Saint-Constant
Before | After |
---|---|
Many homeowners in Saint-Constant suffer from Foundation cracks in their houses. Patching repairs are not always the best solution.
We opted to install SmartJack poles in order to stabilize the floors, and a vapor barrier to drain the water to the inner drain and have a permanent solution.
ThermalDry waterproofing membrane does not only stop humidity from dissipating into the basement but also could lead any water infiltration down to the WaterGuard. ThermalDry also reflects the heat back into the basement.

Mr. Raymond contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Qc because he had an urgent problem and needed to stabilize one of the foundation walls. The concrete block foundation wall had a long horizontal crack one inch wide in the middle of the wall and the wall was dangerously curved. He was afraid that his wall will fall.
To solve our client's problem, our experts had put a wall anchoring system on the cracked wall. Plates were put on the inside wall and on the outside ground a few feet from the wall and were connected by a galvanized steel rod. Once the anchors are tight, they hold the wall securely in its current position. The anchors can be tightened allowing the wall to be straightened.
With this situation, Mr. Raymond had nothing more to fear, his wall is stabilized and will not fall.

Problem:
Our client in Saint-Constant wanted to finish his basement. During his inspection of the state of the basement, he found traces of water and some damages to the floors, walls and some furniture he had stored in there.
His insurance company asked him to repair the source of the problem before they could let him finish the basement at their expense. His search for a reliable company to do the work led him to us.
Our specialist Jorge inspected the basement, inside and out, and explained to the client what was causing the water seepage. By identifying the client's needs and budget, Jorge was able to recommend the best solution.
Solution:
Jorge recommended a partial WaterGuard internal drain. In contrast to a French Drain, the WaterGuard does not have to be installed around the full perimeter, even though this is the mostly recommended solution. Our client had a limited budget and Jorge worked within his budget to install the internal drain where it was needed.
He also recommended connecting the drain to the exisitng sump pump to stay within budget. Our foreman Michel did the installation exactly as per Jorge's plan and connected the drain to the pump.
Our client was happy to be able to have a dry basement and get the money from his insurance company to do the work.
Mr. Eric contacted our company for water infiltration problems in the basement of his residence. In addition, he was suffering from high level of humidity in his basement which was affecting his health conditions and made him sick most of the year long.
So we sent one of our specialists to carry out a free inspection. On-site, the owner was provided with a detailed bid which was recommended the installation of: a WaterGuard interior foundation drain system, a SuperSump and a TripleSafe pump system, our company’s ThermalDry waterproofing membrane to stop humidity from dissipating into the basement, a SaniDry dehumidifier and the Installation of SmartJack poles In order to stabilize the floors.
Satisfied with the solution and the price, Mr.Eric made the decision to bring in the technicians from Basement systems Quebec, to go ahead with the waterproofing of his basement.
Once the job was completed, our client felt much more comfortable to live in his house and he said that he was very satisfied with the professionalism of the entire project.
After many years of suffering due to the infiltration of water in the basement, Mr.Ruslan wanted to find a permanent solution. With a very high level of humidity in the basement, it also smelled musty all the time.
Every time there was rain, water was seeping into the basement, and during the last water infiltration, our client had enough.
The owner wanted to finish his basement once and for all, and for this reason, he wanted to have a permanent solution to regulate the infiltration of water.
Our team chooses to install a Waterguard system throughout the interior perimeter of the house. This sole drain takes the water from the walls and joints of the foundation, which was perfect for this basement.
The installation was completed very quickly within only a few days and the customer paid less than twice the costs he received in the submissions to install a French drain system!
