New Water Drainage System Installed in Verdun
Challenge
Our client in Verdun, Quebec, contacted us because he had a 10-year-old sump pump and wanted to have installed a new system with a backup battery in case of a power failure. We then offered to come by for a free inspection to see what solution would be best for him. Our specialist Patrick went to inspect Mr. Paquin’s basement and decided that the best solution would be to install a new drainage system.
Solution
The first product installed was the TripleSafe sump pump system. The most sophisticated pump system, TripleSafe, has three pumps that self-adjust to the required pumping capacity. Additionally, it has a battery backup mechanism in case of power outages brought on by storms or grid faults. Next, they installed a LawnScape™ discharge line outlet system and an IceGuard® Sump Pump Discharge Line System to discharge the water from the pump system. The grated LawnScape™ outlet system is designed to be attached to the discharge line end of your sump pump. It fits well into your landscaping because it is green and lies flat on the ground. It can even support a lawn tractor's weight. Finally, the IceGuard® technology permits water to escape via the pipe, even in the severe Canadian cold or when the discharge line is coated in ice or snow. By doing this, water is kept out of the sump pump basin and keeps the basement from flooding.
