A client from Blainville lived in his house for more than 14 years, when he began to have some problems with his sump pump. At a certain point, the owner of the house was left with over an inch of water in his basement. This client wanted to proceed with finishing his basement, to take advantage of most of the space in his house. He then called us in order to get a free inspection of his basement. Our expert came to the conclusion that the client needed a new sump pump, in order to have a completely dry basement. The Systèmes Sous-sol Québec team went to the customer’s house in Blainville to install the new sump pump system (SuperSump®). This system has: a floor drain within the cover of the sump, a support stand for the pump and an alarm which sounds automatically when the water exceeds the level at which the pump should start up. The homeowner could then proceed with finishing his basement.

Installing the New Basket

You do not want your pump intake in a muddy hole in the floor. And you do not want it to be in a five-gallon container that does not contain a lot of water and whose cycle is very short. That is why we set up our own liner and cover the rest of the space with ¾ inch stones.
