Mr. Yang had a sump pump system that was not working very well and was unreliable. So he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec for a free estimate to install a reliable and efficient sump pump system in order to prevent any flood. The solution: - Install a new TripleSafe sump pump system This is our most efficient solution, because this system includes 3 pumps; a Zoeller 1/3 HP cast iron main pump, a second Zoeller 1/2 HP pump which engages if the quantity of water to be evacuated becomes important and then a third UltraSump battery backup pump which activates during power outages. In addition to this, a WaterWatch alarm sounds to alert you when the water level exceeds the limit where the pump should have been running. An external discharge line to evacuate water away from the house has been installed. It includes our IceGuard emergency water drainage system which allows water to be drained in case of freezing. This prevents water from accumulating in the basement. With the TripleSafe system, Mr. Yang will have the peace of mind in case event of a power failure.

TripleSafe

Our TripleSafe sump pump system is installed. The battery connected to the back-up pump is plugged in and the WaterWatch alarm is active. The customer is now 3 times more protected than before.

The UltraSump battery backup system

When the UltraSump is fully charged, it can remove approximately 45,400 liters of water. It is the equivalent of a small swimming pool. In addition, the system is equipped with an alarm which works as soon as it is in emergency mode and stops as soon as the system is closed.

IceGuard and the discharge line that expels water away from the foundation

We dug to install an exterior discharge line to direct the water away from the foundation of the house. Once completed, it is covered by earth and therefore invisible. An IceGuard emergency water drainage system was installed at the start of the discharge line. In case of freezing or blockage, water can escape through the IceGuard instead of accumulating up into the house.
