Sump Pump Installation - Protecting the discharge line from freezing

Since we use a discharge line to discharge the water from the sump pump system, and the discharge line runs at a depth of up to 1 foot under the surface, this line will probably freeze in winter.

As a foolproof solution, we install the IceGuard unit, which ensures the water will always be pumped out.
