Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This client has contacted us because the water situated around his basement exerts a force so powerful that the water seeps through the floor joists and porous concrete.

In order to solve this problem, our specialist recommended the installation of the WaterGuard internal drain which is more efficient than the installation of an external French drain. With the SuperSump Sump Pump System, water is collected and flushed away from your home to keep it dry at all time. 

The WaterGuard Drain is specifically designed to be placed above the base on a bed of rocks, slowing down the flow of water and preventing the drain from clogging. In addition, it is important that it contains a 3/8 inch built-in space between the floor and the wall to drain infiltrations from the wall. Spacers visible along the wall allow water to be collected in the drain while blocking dirt and debris. Once covered with concrete, the drain merges into the decor without damaging the structure of the foundation. In order to perform system checks, we also install an inspection port that allows access to the drain and ensures its smooth operation over the years. When a wall is cracked in multiple places, a more effective solution than sealing is waterproofing of the foundation wall.

We carried out this type of repair at a Saint-Pie customer.

We solidified the wall using carbon fiber strips to prevent the wall from moving and creating more cracks, and then we installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane which blocks water and vapors and redirects them to the WaterGuard interior drainage and water drainage.

And finally we connected this membrane to the SuperSump sump pump system.

Mr. Richard had a water infiltration problem for the past few years and he was seeing mold stains in his basement. So he was planning to sell his house and wanted to fix this situation permanently.

The customer chose a complete product solution; a SuperSump pump, an IceGuard, a LawnScape a Waterguard drain system that leads the water to the pump, to then be discharged outside the house, at a safe distance.
