We have waterproofed this dry and rotten basement in Contrecoeur, Qc when our clients started noticing some kind of water seepage in that area.

Water infiltration was actually starting to affect the foundation of the house, in addition to mold growth and mildew.

We started the waterproofing work by installing our interior drainage system ’The Waterguard’ which is installed inside the basement and won't clog with silt or plant roots.

Then the Waterguard was connected to the SuperSump pump that can pump a huge amount of water in the toughest rain periods.

This Knowlton client has a basement that is half an unfinished basement and half a crawl space. One of these two parts is an extension which was added after the construction of the house. Finally, the CleanSpace membrane, which is an ultra-resistant vapor barrier, is installed where water moistens the walls. When the foundation is built using concrete blocks, water infiltrates through the joints between the blocks and the water vapors pass through the pores, which humidifies the space.
