Basement flooded and then waterproofed in Oka, QC.
The spring of 2019 was very difficult for the residents of Oka. Several houses were flooded, causing major damages to basements throughout the city. We have waterproofed several residences, including this one, to prevent underground floods that could reach the next thaw.
We have installed a WaterGuard interior drain perimeter that intercepts water seeping through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Then we installed a TripleSafe sump pump system that contains 3 pumps in an airtight coating. One of the sump pumps in this coating is a battery-backed emergency pump that will start during a power outage to protect your basement.
Change of Sump pump in Picourt, Qc
A non-functional sump pump does not help much if your home is sensitive to heavy rain. What is it for if water will seep back inside? That's why we installed our TripleSafe sump pump.
This system contains 3 pumps and works at all times: under normal conditions, during heavy rains, and at the battery when there is a power failure at home. In fact, if you have your home sometimes followed by power outages during rain storms, your pump will stop working and your basement will be flooded again. We are happy to have been able to help this client avoid this headache with the TripleSafe.

Water infiltration through foundation cracks in Beauharnois, Qc
Our client Ms. Brault had just moved into her home and she had an inspection that has identified several cracks in the foundation. So she wanted to deal with it quickly, since she had frequent water infiltration and was afraid this would affect the value of her investment. The water had already created damage to the floor. There was also a lot of efflorescence at the base of the concrete walls.
So our team suggested to her exactly what she chose. They did a nearly 2 hour assessments, indoor and outdoor, to make sure was there was no other problems.
The products used included a SuperSump pump, attached to an IceGuard and LawnScape. This pump includes 1 electric pump, 1 alarm, 1 drain and can pump 2200 gallons per hour, quietly and efficiently. The Iceguard and LawnScape allow a safe exit from the water without damaging the terrain. The client can now enjoy a dry basement and maintain the value of her home.
Infiltration of water through cracks in a basement in L'Île-Perrot, Qc
We received the following request from Nathalie in L'Île-Perrot: "I need an estimate of costs for water infiltration in the basement. Cracks are apparent”
So we sent our specialist Mike to perform a complete inspection and submit a quote to this client who wants to solve his problem of infiltration of water in the basement. He recommended the following solution:
Close the cracks by injecting polyurethane, install an interior drain (our WaterGuard drain system) along the perimeter of the basement on the footing of the foundation, connect the drain to a SuperSump sump pump system to drain the water away from the house automatically, cover the wall with the CleanSpace membrane which is a vapor barrier to block water vapor from the wall.
The basement is now dry and will remain so at all times because we have solved the problem at the source.
