Our technicians led by foreman Petru then proceeded to install a CleanSpace membrane in order to stop water vapor from flowing up the soil and through the walls, and a SmartSump pump system that is equipped with a cast-iron Zoeller sump pump, a reliable liner, a sump alarm, and an optional battery backup sump pump, it's exactly what you need to ensure a dry crawl space all the time!

Before tackling this homeowner's challenge in Pike River, QC, their crawl space was barely recognizable: poorly insulated and lacking sturdy foundation support. As you can see in the photo, it was an area in dire need of intervention. But take a look at the after photo - our team transformed it with SmartJack for solid foundation reinforcement, wrapped it up with CleanSpace for a waterproof barrier, and insulated with SilverGlo to keep it energy-efficient. So we must put pillars that support the house on stronger soil.

We have stabilized this crawl space in Longueuil by adapting one of our simple solutions from which SmartJack pillars and galvanized steel PowerBrace beams that will lift the foundation to their original position immediately.

We have completely encapsulated this crawl space by installing our CleanSpace Drain Mat under our CleanSpace Anti-mold Steam Membrane. Then we installed an UltraSump booster pump that runs on battery power during power outages. Subsequently, we solidified the crawl space structure by installing 9 SmartJack pillars and 24 PowerBrace support beams. To finalize it all, we added IceGuard and LawnScape accessories to the dump line to provide extra safety against flooding.

So we started by installing the WaterGuard Interior Drain ‘This channel collects water from the wall floor joint and directs it to the sump chamber’, and then we have connected it to our company’s SuperSump pump that will evacuate water.

In addition our team has installed the CleanSpace membrane which blocks water vapor from the walls and redirects water to the WaterGuard indoor drain installed directly below.
