The solution

In addition to this, a WaterWatch alarm sounds to alert you when the water level exceeds the limit where the pump should have been running. An external discharge line to evacuate water away from the house has been installed. It includes our IceGuard emergency water drainage system which allows water to be drained in the event of freezing or blocked discharge line. This prevents water from backing up into the basement.
